balance in technique

sean anjali Sean Tebor draws from classical yoga systems and his passion for core structural anatomy to inspire students to experience true form within their personal experience. His progressive approach and ability to simplify complex concepts lead the beginning and advanced student to common ground, where yoga is realized as a method of structural integration on multiple levels. Sean infuses yoga with the passionate understanding that life is comprised of simple relationships between pairs of opposites that yearn to be in balance. He loves to invite the simultaneity of stability and comfort, of release within effort, and the wonderful changes in life that occur with such balance.

a simple philosophy

Sean encourages students to recognize that all valuable teaching emanates from the source of true wisdom within each of us, and considers developing a personal relationship with the one true Inner Teacher the most important aspect of the practice of living fully. It is this support for making that leap of faith that Sean holds space for in his classes, in an environment that is deeply nourishing, dynamic, and playful.

It is, however, necessary to say a word or two about his honest affiliation with the good work of Yoga Alliance. Sean is registered at the ERYT500 level, which simply means he meets the requirements for an “experienced yoga teacher” at the 500 hour level. In other words, Sean may teach any classes, workshops, immersions, or teacher training segments at either the 200 or 500 hour level.

Enough. These few words are enough. If not these words, this breath. If not this breath, this sitting here. This opening to the life we have refused again and again until now. Until now. —David Whyte
